of engineering staff or flight crew via Private Jet or any bigger charter
aircraft.

CASE STUDY: QUICK MOVE OF ENGINEERING CREW

Cargo: Engineering crew of 5 people

Aircraft: Private Jet (Mustang)

Route: CGN (Cologne) – CFE (Clérmond-Ferrand)

For an AOG of a commercial passenger aircraft in Clérmond-Ferrand. Five engineering staff had to be flown on the fastest route from Cologne to Clérmond-Ferrand to assist with this project. Due to missing direct scheduled connections a private jet was the only solution to get the crew to the AOG location in time. The enquiry call came in at 11.30 am. A Citation Mustang jet was organized by Air Partner 30 minutes later to be in Clérmond-Ferrand at 1.30 pm. The team could then directly start working on the exchange of the broken engine and the aircraft was able to resume service by 4pm. Any further financial implications like additional crew expenses or any passenger compensations could been minimized.
