Air Partner - 13 Jun 2018
Air Partner, the global aviation services group, today announced the opening of a new office in Los Angeles, supporting its strategy to grow its geographical footprint and deepen its presence in the U.S., specifically.
The office, which opened officially on June 4, 2018, will service Southern California and the broader West Coast markets, strengthening Air Partner’s existing U.S. network, which includes New York, Fort Lauderdale and Washington D.C.
Air Partner’s service offerings include air charter, private air travel solutions, specialist travel management, emergency planning, aircraft remarketing and aviation safety consultancy and training, including air traffic control and wildlife management. The announcement of the L.A. office coincides with Air Partner’s report of strong trading in the U.S. as part of its end of year results, which were released on Monday, June 11, 2018.
Overall, the company’s U.S.-based commercial jets, private jets and cargo charter divisions all performed well. Air Partner’s private jets business reported an 80 percent rise in overall U.S. customer numbers, driven by the company’s 2017 New York office expansion, recruitment of new management, and its JetCard being recognized as the most flexible U.S. membership program by independent aviation consultancy Conklin & de Decker for the fourth consecutive year.
Meanwhile, Air Partner’s commercial jets and cargo divisions were kept busy responding to customers’ needs in the face of Hurricanes Irma and Maria, which hit the U.S. and the Caribbean in September Air Partner’s product offering has seen strong demand on the West Coast, particularly for its private jets product, which offers exceptional customer service. A full 24-hour flight operations center ensures customers have instant, year-round access to Air Partner’s services, wherever they are in the world and whatever the time.
“We are delighted to have opened an office in Los Angeles, providing local Air Partner representation to our established customers, and enabling us to deliver our services to the West Coast,” said Mark Briffa, CEO of Air Partner. “Expanding our North American presence is a natural progression for Air Partner, as we see significant potential for growth given the diversity of industries that would benefit from our services and capabilities in private jets, commercial jets and cargo.”
Air Partner’s Los Angeles office will also introduce the company’s JetCard, a seamless private jet solution, to the West Coast private client and business communities. With fixed hourly rates, guaranteed availability, a global reach and no monthly management fees or fuel surcharges – while also being fully refundable on demand – Air Partner is confident JetCard will be a key driver in growing the share of the U.S. private jet market moving forward.
