Best jets to reach Telluride airport
We would recommend a Light jet or Midsize jet to access Telluride's complexly positioned airport runway and high terrain, such as a Citation XLS or Embraer Phenom 300.
Insider tip
Book as early as possible to get your preferred flight time and date. If you are flexible then take advantage of the quieter weekdays, especially with limited scheduled services available for flying in or out of Telluride. Montrose-Telluride Regional Airport (TMJ) is also a good alternative option and can be less susceptible to weather conditions and slot restrictions than Telluride– for an extra 75 minutes on the road to the mountain village, it can offer slightly more flexibility.
