Air Partner - 18 Jan 2017
Here at Air Partner, we pride ourselves on providing the highest levels of service and ensuring that we cater to all our clients’ needs – whatever these may be. We also love Christmas, so we were thrilled to be asked to organise a family trip to Lapland in December. The task: to get 15 passengers from the UK to Lapland in the most magical way possible, rivalling even Santa’s sleigh.
Air Partner did everything possible to make sure that the guests’ on-board experience was as luxurious and festive as possible. The private jet was decked out with Christmas decorations and personalised stockings for each of the children, and Christmas movies were screened for the duration of the flight to keep them entertained. For the grown-ups - aside from the usual Champagne, fine canapés and sumptuous cuisine - traditional mulled wine and mince pies were also in plentiful supply. All these were served by a handy ‘elf’ who was there to ensure all the guests were having a wonderful time.
More and more families are heading to Lapland with their little ones over the Christmas season, and with such an array of festive winter fun to be had, who can blame them? From meeting Father Christmas himself to catching a glimpse of the spectacular Northern Lights, there is something for everyone. It’s a particularly good destination for the more adventurous of travellers, with a whole host of snow sports on offer – such as ice fishing, skiing, snowmobile rides and even husky sled trips.
The trip was booked on a JetCard, the simple-to-use frequent flyer card that buys 25 hours or more of flying in your choice of six private jet categories, with guaranteed availability at any time and dedicated account management 24/7. Unlike other providers, we only charge clients for the time they fly: aircraft positioning, fuel, landing fees and catering are all included, and there are no monthly management fees, peak day restrictions or fuel surcharges.
If you’re interested in hearing more about the JetCard, or would like to talk to us about a special trip you are planning, then please do get in touch.
