This became the reality for a school group of 45 from Dubai, who faced being stranded in Munich when Lufthansa pilots carried out a strike on the 24th November – the day they were due to fly home. The teachers were delighted to receive the new flight information and booking references – especially as this flight flew direct to Dubai, whereas the original itinerary required the group to change in Frankfurt.
