Finance Business Partner

Air Partner are global leaders in Private Jet, Commercial Jet and Freight Aircraft Charter Broking, and Aviation Safety Consulting and training services.  Our Fort Lauderdale office is looking for a robust and influential Senior Finance Business Partner who is a real people person, to take responsibility for providing commercial insight on business performance to influence the decision-making process.  You will also drive profitable growth and support the delivery of the organisation’s long-term strategic goals, driving predictability in planning and forecasting.

The role reports the Vice President Finance – US, with a dotted line to the President Air Partner Inc.

Please note that this is a full-time, permanent role.

What you will be doing: 

- Building, maintaining and influencing strong relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders  

- Drive the impact and understanding of financial information through insightful reporting and interpretation, to influence decision making and promote business performance

- Preparing monthly management accounts and associated reporting

- Developing ad hoc analysis, reporting and case modelling as required and be a force of proposition in driving improvements 

- Advising to ensure financial risks are identified, monitored and mitigated by the business

- Driving continuous improvement over systems, internal controls and internal processes

Involvement in the production of rolling forecasts, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets

- Working proactively and with flexibility to respond to changing business issues and priorities 

What we are looking for:

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, influencing effectively as required, whilst also being robust and able to stand your ground.  You will have fresh ideas from your recent experience as a Business Partner and help to improve the current processes.  You will also have:

- Previous experience as a Finance Business Partner

- Extensive experience in the Finance sector 

- An ability to juggle multiple demands and changing priorities

- A team player; collaborative and supportive, yet able to work independently when required

- A proactive approach and an own-it approach   

- Good written and oral communication skills and an ability to explain complex

concepts concisely, in layman’s terms 

- An ability to work and learn quickly in a fast paced, fun and dynamic environment

- A willingness to occasionally travel to other office locations within the US and the UK
