Payroll and Benefits Specialist

Our People function are seeking an experienced Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our small, fast paced and dynamic team.

Reporting to the Head of Reward, you will be responsible for the management of the end to end monthly payroll process for a number of companies in the Air Partner Group. You will also be responsible for the day to day running of the employee benefits schemes, HR systems, HR analytics and HR administration. You will support the People team assisting where necessary with both day to day employee lifecycle activities and project related work. 

What you will be doing: 

- Managing the end to end monthly UK payrolls, liaising with HR counterparts at our UK companies

- Managing the Singapore and Dubai payrolls 

- Managing the HMRC processes (including end of year reporting. P11d, PSA)

- Managing the administration of the employee benefit schemes including joiners and leavers processes, auto enrolment duties and assisting with the annual renewals

- Taking responsibility for maintaining the data and accuracy of the HR Systems

- Providing first line HR support to employee queries

- Providing regular HR analytics (including headcount reporting, assisting with the gender pay report, annual report and ad hoc requests) 

- Monitoring, turnover, sickness and absence group wide, producing metrics reports and highlighting concerns/trends to the Head of Reward

- Supporting the Group annual salary review process 

- Assisting with general HR admin including joiner and leaver processes and preparing letters

- Supporting the People team with ad hoc project work 

What we are looking for:

Essentials

- A proven background managing payroll

- Experience of employee benefits administration

- Excellent Excel skills and strong attention to detail

- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to work under pressure

- A proactive and positive approach to work

- A strong team player able to demonstrate flexibility with workload / resources

- Excellent IT skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word; Excel; Outlook and PowerPoint and knowledge of using an HRIS previously

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate with staff at all levels

- Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills 

- A resilient individual able to work in an organisation that is undergoing frequent change due to development and growth 

- An awareness of confidentiality within the HR environment and ability to work as part of a small team
