Cabot Aviation announces placement of Embraer 170 aircraft with Austrian operator People’s Viennaline on behalf of AerFin

Cabot Aviation, a division of Air Partner plc and a leading aircraft remarketing broker, is pleased to announce the placement of an Embraer 170 aircraft with Austrian operator People’s Viennaline on behalf of AerFin Ltd (UK). The aircraft, serial number MSN 0093, was delivered to its new owner on 10 November.

MSN 0093 enters People’s Viennaline’s regional operation as the second aircraft supporting links between Altenrhein and Vienna, providing 23 weekly flights. The operator’s latest route extensions include Altenrhein – Friedrichshafen and Cologne Bonn, which commenced on 2 November.

The airline will operate the airport trio link twice-daily on weekdays and the short hop between Altenrhein and Friedrichshafen, a 19-kilometre 8-minute sector, makes it one of the shortest commercial international flights in the world. The connection between Friedrichshafen and Cologne Bonn is slightly longer at 393 kilometres.

AerFin continues its focus on the regional jet market and CEO Bob James said: “We are delighted to be able to support People’s Viennaline with a high standard quality aircraft where reliability for such operation is of paramount importance”.
