Air Partner books 1500 flights worldwide for hosted buyers to IMEX 2015

Air Partner’s Travel division, which specialises in providing expert advice and support for scheduled airline travel, worked with IMEX for the fourth consecutive year to arrange 1500 hosted buyer flights for the 2015 exhibition, all of which were operated by Lufthansa. This year’s event in Frankfurt was attended by buyers from over 50 countries, with an increased number of long haul buyers taking part in the full three day programme than in previous years.

Air Partner’s Travel division offered dedicated account management, working in the IMEX office with the IMEX team in order to manage the flights. A 24-hour helpline was set up, through which buyers could manage their flight bookings; Air Partner provided the additional service of changing buyers’ flights as well (in-line with the rules of the Hosted Buyer Programme). There was also an Air Partner representative onsite at all times, who was on-hand to assist with any bookings made during the exhibition, print boarding passes or answer any flight queries.

IMEX is a worldwide exhibition for incentive travel, meetings and events. As part of the event, a Hosted Buyer Programme is offered, providing travel and accommodation for qualifying buyers. This has been specifically designed to encourage high-calibre buyers to visit IMEX, the largest meetings and incentive travel exhibition in the world.

Air Partner also attended IMEX 2015 in its own professional capacity, exhibiting on stand F338. This year, for the first time, the team hosted a nail bar at the stand; this certainly proved popular, with over 70 visitors receiving manicures courtesy of Air Partner.
