Brexit brings more business travellers to Britain by private jet

Flights from Europe on the rise as European businesses take advantage of fall in the value of sterling. Air Partner’s figures show continuing business confidence in private jet travel.

London, UK, Tuesday 18 September 2018: More European business travellers are flying into the UK by private jet to take advantage of the fall in the value of the pound as Brexit looms according to Air Partner, the global aviation specialists.

Air Partner say they have seen the number of private jets chartered by European business travellers increased by nearly ten per cent between July and August 2018, compared to the same time last year.

The trend towards more business travellers flying into the UK comes as speculation mounts that a UK-EU Brexit deal could be reached in the next few months and a recent rally by the pound against the Euro, though there is continuing volatility in the markets.
