Air Partner Freight - 17 mag 2015
We teamed up with a fellow WCA member to perform a number of urgent charter flights into conflict-torn Libya. The delivery of humanitarian aid is often complex and involves working under pressure in very challenging situations. Here at Air Partner we have years of experience with highly practiced procedures in place and a great team that works 24/7 to ensure the job gets done.
Air Partner arranged cargo charter flights of AN12 aircraft to deliver much needed medical supplies to two airports in Eastern Libya. The aircraft was especially chosen because of the ramp-loading facility which allowed easy load and off-load using only forklifts ensuring a quick turnaround in a country still plagued by conflict. The challenges faced included securing landing permissions and ensuring that the aircraft was adequately insured and prepared for operations into dangerous and volatile regions.
Account Manager Saeed Ghodrat of Air Partner commented “Thanks to the good teamwork shown between a fellow WCA member and Air Partner, we were able to assure a timely solution for the client’s critical delivery schedule to the buyer in Libya. There is never an easy operation into this part of the world and our 24/7 operations team were able to assist from our Operations control centre in Head Office”
