Data and BI Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data and BI Analyst to join Air Partner, a leading aviation services company.  Reporting into the Head of Business Applications, you will be developing and maintaining BI solutions, creating new dashboards and ad-hoc reports in addition to providing systems support for end users and working on system data migration projects. We are beginning to roll out the use of the latest BI technology platforms to help support our enterprise business applications and business reporting objectives. 

Please note that face to face interviews will takie place the week commencing 16th September 2019.

What you will be doing: 

- Working across all functions of the business to analyse performance and provide actionable insights that will drive improvement of KPIs 

- Designing and building insightful MI & Business Intelligence reports on a routine and ad hoc basis to enable day-to-day operational management and to support the achievement of business objectives 

- Supporting the reporting requirements for D365 and all its applications, through the use of Advanced Views and Dashboard creation 

- Working with the rest of the Business Applications team to support the project to unify business data through data analysis and data migration 

What we are looking for:  

Essential Requirements:  

- Experience with data visualisation tools, ideally Power BI 

- Competency using DAX, SQL and other languages/applications necessary to extract, transform and load data into an insight layer and create dashboards and reports 

- Advanced Excel capabilities, particularly those that complement Power BI functionality 

- Evidence of assimilating business requirements and creating logical and physical data models 

- Good working knowledge of various analysis techniques 

- Experience with SSRS, SSIS and other components of Microsoft SQL Server Database 

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, including SharePoint Online 

Desirable Requirements: 

- Working knowledge of D365, including CE and PSA 

- Strong experience working on data migration projects 

- Familiar with Direct Marketing and Digital Marketing Techniques 

- Experience with Jet Reports 

- An understanding of forecasting/predictive modelling 

- Python
