Are you a hands-on, dynamic and global Marketing Manager with Aviation experience across various marketing channels, who is looking to take the step up to Senior Marketing Manager level? If so, this could be the opportunity you have been looking for!
You will join our small but friendly and proactive Marketing team to manage and deliver the marketing and communications activity for Air Partner Private Jet, Corporate / Commercial Jets, Freight, Remarketing and Emergency Planning across the regional offices (UK and other global markets).
You will support the ambitions of the Air Partner three-year plan by aligning the marketing and communication activity and leading, planning and executing marketing campaigns and activity that supports the ‘go to market’ strategy, ensuring we attract, nurture and retain our most valuable customers. You will also be involved in other activity across the business, including new acquisitions and some internal communications.
Reporting into the VP Group Marketing, you will also line manage a Marketing Executive who will be able to support you across the broad range of services. You will also work closely with business development as well as implementing the digital transformation vision.
The VP champions flexible working, although there will be an expectation to travel to the Gatwick office a minimum of one day a week, dependent on business needs.
This role also offers the opportunity of some international travel as part of your role!
What you will be doing:
- Developing and collating all global marketing plans to support both B2B & B2C, including allocation and management of budgets
- Working with our Customer Data Analyst on ROI tracking
- Leading, managing, mentoring and motivating one Marketing Executive
- Working closely with Digital, Creative and PR resources to ensure the successful delivery of campaign activity
- Coordinating and delivering specific global marketing activity with a focus on Customer First, CRM and database marketing, ensuring a clear understanding of customer segmentation and targeting strategies
- Assisting with the roll out of Air Partner’s new brand - vision, mission and values - including their new website
- Assisting colleagues and the Sales team in identifying and pitching partnership and alliance marketing, including launch and follow through
- Organising key events including affiliate, external customer and internal events
- Ensuring Air Partner is positioned as a leading authority within B2B, including customer news stories and B2C, working through the seasonal marketing plan for occasions to travel
- Visiting our various global and regional office locations as required (mainly Europe) and attending and contributing to global marketing meetings
- Researching and reviewing current products and services and market trends and presenting ideas for enhancing the customer journey and experience
- Working with the wider organisation in the coordination of key internal communications including staff newsletters, CEO updates and annual reports
- Ensuring that website content and messaging is positioned according to the relevant market segment
- Positioning and messaging timely and frequent content
- Assisting with the implementation of the intranet
- Maintaining and managing accounts and budgets and producing regular updates
- Maintaining and providing regular reports on marketing activity
What we ae looking for:
- At least 6+ years’ experience in mid-level marketing roles
- Aviation industry marketing experience (ideally private Jets)
- Experience in B2B or working within a corporate marketing environment
- Experience developing brands and working on internal activity globally
- Experience in managing direct reports
- Experience in database and customer centric marketing
- A commercial mind and a good understanding of marketing techniques including CRM and digital
- A results focused individual who understands ROI and tracking metrics
- A confident and articulate professional, able to communicate effectively with people at all levels
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and budgets
- An ability to sell ideas and concepts
- An understanding of how to deliver timely and effective PR communications
- A flexible, adaptable and a co-operative attitude with an ability to work well as part of a team
- A good degree of initiative, self-motivation and a natural ability to inspire and manage a team, but also happy to be extremely hands-on
- Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or qualified by experience
- Systems skills
- An understanding of CRM and database solutions, ideally Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience with Microsoft packages Excel, PowerPoint, Word and ideally InDesign
- And understanding of tracking software including Leads Forensic and Micro Marketeer
- Experience of marketing automation e.g. Click Dimensions and Campaign Monitor
